Getting started (Creators)

1. Create an account: Use a valid email and set a secure password (passphrases are best).
2. Complete your profile: Add a display name, header image, bio, and links you’re proud of.
3. Verify identity (where required): For payments and compliance, you may be asked to verify your age and identity before opening earnings features.
4. Set pricing: Choose a monthly subscription, add optional bundles, and enable PPV and tips.
5. Publish: Upload media, schedule posts, or go live (if enabled on your plan). Engage, reply, and pin your best work.
6. Track results: Use the dashboard to monitor conversions, churn, and top supporters.

Getting started (Fans)

1. Sign up & add payment method: Cards and supported wallets vary by region.
2. Subscribe or unlock: Follow creators, purchase a subscription, send tips, or unlock individual posts.
3. Manage renewals: You can cancel at any time. Access remains until the end of the paid period.

Posting & features

• Media: Photos, videos, audio, and longer text posts (file size limits apply).
• Captions & tags: Improve discovery with clear titles and a few relevant tags.
• Scheduling: Plan content in advance for consistent output.
• Messaging: Chat with subscribers; creators can set PPV messages or bundles.
• Promotions: Use discount codes, limited-time offers, or free trials (where enabled).

Subscriptions, PPV & tips

• Subscriptions: Recurring monthly access to a creator’s feed and subscriber-only perks.
• PPV (pay-per-view): One-off purchases for specific posts or messages.
• Tips: Voluntary support; not tied to content access.
• Bundles: Sell multi-month packages at a reduced rate.

Payments, fees & withdrawals

• Earnings: Visible in real time in your dashboard, net of platform fees and applicable taxes.
• Withdrawals: Request payouts once you hit the minimum threshold. Processing times depend on your chosen method and region.
• Fees: Platform and payment processor fees are shown before you confirm a withdrawal.
• Chargebacks: If a payment is disputed, the amount may be held while it is reviewed.

Taxes & compliance

• Creator responsibility: You’re responsible for declaring income in your jurisdiction.
• VAT/GST/sales tax: Where required, taxes may be applied at checkout or on withdrawals, depending on local rules.
• Invoices/receipts: Fans receive receipts; creators can download statements for accounting.

Verification & safety

• KYC/age checks: Activated where legally required or to unlock monetisation.
• Two-factor authentication (2FA): Strongly recommended for all accounts.
• Account security: Use unique passwords, enable 2FA, and never share one-time codes.
• Moderation: Automated and human review may apply to reported or high-risk content.

Content rules (high level)

• Legal only: No illegal content or activity, ever.
• Consent: Share only what you have the right to publish; no doxxing or non-consensual material.
• Safety: No content that promotes harm, exploitation, or hate.
• Intellectual property: Respect copyrights and trademarks.
  A fuller policy applies; repeated breaches can result in restrictions or removal.

Reporting, blocking & muting

• Report: Use the “⋯” menu on a profile, message, or post to report issues.
• Block: Prevent another user from viewing your profile or messaging you.
• Mute: Hide notifications from specific accounts without blocking.
  Our team reviews reports and takes appropriate action in line with policy.

Refunds & cancellations

• Subscriptions: Cancel any time; access continues until the end of the billing period.
• PPV & tips: Due to the nature of digital content, these are generally non-refundable once delivered.
• Payment issues: If something looks wrong, contact Support with the transaction ID and screenshots.

Privacy & data

• Minimal data, clear purpose: We collect only what’s needed to operate the service (e.g., payments, security).
• Control: Manage email preferences, visibility options, and connected apps in Settings.
• Retention: Data is retained only as long as necessary for legal and operational reasons.
